I haven’t gone out with my friends in ages. I mean, for more than a month or so, because I have few friends here and out of them, almost everyone are busy with their own life. So, my photo-shoot preparations didn’t go that great. I got more than 30 days to shop and prepare for it. But, It was hard. It was very hard to make myself believe that I don’t have anyone to help me.
I had to wear sari and for that I had to get matching pair of heels, bangles, shawls, brooches, etc without which its not complete. So, I checked for what I had with me first, since I didn’t want to spend too much on just one day event (it was actually one hour ).
Anyway,
* For my luck, I had the best ever bangles which I got from a friend on my birthday this year and it goes with almost any color.
* One of my friends gave me a turquoise sari to wear for the graduation day and for this photo-shoot.
* I had the same turquoise cap which I made on my own for the last Fithr Eid.
* Had multiple colors of eye-shadows, eyeliners, and most of the make-up accessories with me, even though I don’t usually use them even for parties (except for the eyeliner).
Somehow I got the other stuff quite easily from the close-by shops, so, it wasn’t that hard as I thought to do shopping alone. I got everything I wanted. So, who cares. I don’t!!
Finally we had the photo-shoot last Sunday. It took 2 hours for me to dress-up but the event lasted just for an hour. It was really fun. And I felt so happy seeing everyone dressed up so well.
Outfit post will be in shum's blog inshaAllah soon. :)
PS: Happy Eid-al-adha. I miss home so badly.

I just LOVE your Lavender template color.. I wear shades of purple/lavender quite often! I love turquis too! Have fun with the colors of your life! Wearing bright orange draws people to you at a party. Wring notes on bright yellow helps you remember them.
