- - Awesome April - -

I always loved the month of April. Mostly, the April rain.

As usual, I had so much of hopes for this April. But, none of them actually came true. Had so much of plans too. But, few of it actually worked.

One thing I wanted to start on was to stitch my own cloths. It saves lot of money plus I can wear a dress of my choice then. Here in Sri Lanka, we get lots of holidays during April and that's one reason I wanted to start it this month. But, too bad that most of the days of this month I was just in extreme-loss-of-interest mood which ruined whole thing.

But, Finally before the month has ended I forced myself to start on it. Stitched the very first shirt on my own without any help from others and I am really happy with it. Got pretty good comments from my friends when I wore it and that has become an inspiration for me to continue with it.

The other thing I wanted to start on was to start making clutches. I looked for clutches at many places and even the very simple ones seem to be very expensive. I of course cant afford to buy matching clutches for all my party dresses. But, I always love carrying pretty clutches for functions.

So, I searched web for few images of simple clutches to start on. And tried making it. My first one failed. As I believe in the saying “practice makes perfect”, I just kept on practicing it. And, as a result I was able to successfully make a clutch exactly the way I want before April ends.

April wasn’t going as I expected. But, it at least gave me some hope before it ended.
